PeTNet Track Your Pet Using A Phone Or Your PC
PeTnet by RoamEO What is PeTnet? It is a community community for the owners of any RoamEO system, whether it be the RoamEO GPS Dog Collar Tracking Classic or the RoamEO GPS Dog Collar Tracking PuP At first glance its most obvious function is to bring the GPS tracking and containment functions of your RoamEO to your home computer, PDA, or web enabled cell phone. The way it works is simple. Any RoamEO customer may purchase this optional antenna accessory and plug it into their home computer or laptop. This antenna will then receive GPS coordinates directly from your pets GPS collar to your PC or PDA and web enabled cell phone. RoamEO owners will then be able to track their pet in real time using Google Maps. Now not only will you be able to see your pets location, speed, and direction of travel In Real Time on your RoamEO GPS Dog Collar Tracking Classic or PuPpod hand held GPS Tracking unit, you will also be able to see In Real Time the exact street (And using Googles Satellite view) or even home or landmark your pet is standing next to at that moment. With the optional PeTnet antenna, the RoamEO will now do anything that the Zoombak™, PetSafe™. or Global Pet Finder™ units will do...and will still do it for less money! Also keep in mind that PeTnet is a membership community and like any good community will provide additional features and benefits for its members. All newly purchased RoamEO GPS Dog Collar Tracking Classic and the PuPPod GPS tracking units will come with 1 year of free service. Yes, there will be some very reasonable membership dues (About $70 per year) to use the product after the first year, but it is completely optional and the units will function as normal without this service. PeTnet is there for the people who want the same additional features that some of our competitors have, but without the cell phone contracts and high monthly fees. Another important feature with PeTnet is that as the community populates itself, the tracking range of your system will increase beyond the 5 mile range we currently have. Theoretically the range could be unlimited. Every home in any area who has one of these antennas can piggyback off of each other to extend the range of the system as a whole. So if enough people in any city had one of these units, you could track your pet anywhere in the city. If enough in the state have it, then you could track anywhere in the state and so on. |
